You know, no two classes are ever the same. This class was booked solid but at the last moment had a few sick ladies and family emergencies. So, bottom line is we missed you Nancy, Lisa, Lorraine and Judith but we gained Lynn and Dana who were both an absolute pleasure!
In this class we had our garden tour, which you can see from the photos, it was an amazing afternoon after what felt like on and off rain and gloom for months. We took our time and explored the gardens, played with the chickens and enjoyed our signature cocktail- a citrus blossom sparkler- recipe below. It was so light and refreshing- made from fresh tangerine juice from my trees. The best part-no added sugar.
So with a couple less people we still managed to have a blast cooking, chopping and chatting. We all learned to successfully "supreme" our blood oranges perfectly to finish off our most beautiful panna cotta with blood orange compote and I think we all had a great sense of accomplishment after prepping, stuffing and baking the lemon sole pinwheels.
