
Moroccan Spiced Almonds
Spicing up your almonds is a great way to punch up the flavor. I use these almonds in salads, granola, and as pictured here on cheeseboards. I use Healthy On You® Moroccan Round the Clock spice blends to add the unique combination of flavors like cumin, mustard seeds, and allspice. When paired with honey and a little salt, it really creates a taste sensation in your mouth.
You can use a range of nuts including pecans, walnuts and cashews if you want variety. These are fast and a great activity to do with the kids.
Ingredients
Makes 4 servings
whole dry-roasted almonds honey olive oil Healthy On You® Moroccan Round the Clock spice blend brown sugar or coconut palm sugar sea salt Pre-heat oven to 350 F and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper. Add almonds to a medium-sized bowl and toss with all the ingredients. Be sure every almond is coated with the oils, honey, and seasonings Spread the nuts evenly on the baking sheet-make sure they are not overlapping and bake for 8 minutes. Allow to cool before snacking!
