Coffee Rubbed Grilled Steak

Ready to amp up your grilling this summer? Our Healthy On You® Hit the Roast Jack Coffe Roast Rub is perfect for easy summer grilling and not just for meat either. But if you do eat meat, this will be your new summer favorite. This spice has notes of allspice, coconut sugar, procini mushroom and of course, coffee flavors to give your steak a full-bodied, deep flavor.

Pair it with our fun and colorful Coffee Spiced Corn Salad for a delicious meal.

Ingredients

Makes 4 servings

Preparation

  1. Oil the grill grates and heat your grill to high
  2. Sprinkle both sides with the Hit the Roast Jack Coffee Roast Rub and kosher salt.
  3. Rub the steaks with the olive oil and place them on the hot grill. Allow to cook for 4-5 minutes then turn the steaks over and continue to grill 3 to 5 minutes for medium-rare (an internal temperature of 135 degrees F), 5 to 7 minutes for medium (140 degrees F) or 8 to 10 minutes for medium-well (150 degrees F).
  4. Transfer to a cutting board and allow to cool for 10 minutes. Slice against the grain and serve with the Coffee Spiced Corn Salad.
