I am on a hummus kick these days and love all the different flavors I’ve been creating with our Healthy On You® spice blends. Hummus is like a blank canvas that I can play around with when I am in the mood for snacking. Hummus is quick, easy, and fun to make. I promise you once you’ve made homemade hummus you won’t go back to store-bought!
Today, we have our hummus three ways. We have our Here Comes the Yum turmeric ginger hummus, our Provence You’ve Been Gone beet hummus, and our Let the Good Thymes Roll pesto hummus.

Ingredients
Here Comes the Yum Turmeric Ginger Hummus

can of chickpeas, rinsed and drained

juice of 1 lemon

salt and pepper for taste

cold water (add in tbsp by tbsp until desired consistency is reached)

extra virgin olive oil (for garnish)

red beet, cooked and quartered

basil, roughly chopped

shredded parmesan

For the Here Comes the Yum Turmeric Ginger Hummus

In a food processor or high-speed blender, combine all ingredients (besides water).

Add cold water by tbsp as necessary until desired consistency is reached. Hummus should be of smooth consistency.

Transfer to a serving dish. Top with a drizzle of olive oil and a few sprinkles of You're So Spain.
